11"x14" Oil on Canvas at Small Works North America
Working from the submissions of more than 1,000 artists, The Greenwich Workshop has selected 230 original paintings for inclusion in its first annual SmallWorks North America Exhibition and Competition, the first and only annual juried exhibition of original miniatures on the East Coast.
While my work didn't win the highest prize, the painting "Last Winter" was chosen to be among Top 40, and both paintings have been sold the first day. Not bad, since the usual sizes of my paintings are 30x40 or bigger, and painting small is not my cup of tea.
