December Blues

18x24 Oil on Panel at Union Gallery
Lambertville, NJ
An art critic once said, I am painting colorful, utopian visions of New York City. Makes me wonder, is city really as colorful as I see it? Sure it is! You will see all the spectrum, if you can keep your sense of childlike wonder well-preserved.

child like wonder? yes, i see what you mean: adults often walk around without appreciating the simplest things or finding beauty in them. this painting holds all the chaotic colour of New York. great work Miro.

As always, you take the soul of the town and carry it to the canvas. It's fantastic.

I think I owe you a email, isn't? :-) I write this night. I've been very busy. A big hug for you from Spain.

Beautiful rich painting Miro. NY is a colorful and inspiring city. I have to look real hard to find that in Detroit.
