The marble arch designed by Stanford White, erected in 1892. By the year 2000, air pollution had severely eroded parts of the statue of Washington. An extensive renovation was undertaken, and the arch again has been restored to its former glory.

Oh my, how I love that view!!! there is a great Lebanese restaurant not far from this corner!! mmmm...I miss Paris!
